Break the Drought rally

Farmers and regional Australians are on the frontline of climate change. We are calling on the Government to stand up for action on climate.

Right now 100% of NSW and more than 50% of Queensland is grappling with severe drought. Extreme weather events are set to occur with increasing frequency and severity if we fail to act on climate and set strong emissions targets.

That’s why on Monday 10th September, as politicians return to Canberra, farmers and representatives of regional communities are gathering on the lawns of Parliament House for a community rally.

Together, we will call on the Federal Government to put aside ideology and to advance robust targets to reduce emissions and deliver a clean energy transition.

So please come in your normal clothes and without campaign specific signs and branding and support our farmers who are standing up for climate action.
