Repowering the Regions webinar

How’s your town mojo?

Rural communities are absolutely amazing. From the awesome grassroots cooperatives keeping small town grocery stores alive; through to the extraordinary power of community to pull together and get through tough times - rural communities have a special magic.

Yet it’s not always easy. Sometimes we all need some external inspiration; some new ideas or strategies to help reclaim our community mojo. That’s why, we’re delighted to invite you to our upcoming webinar on Thursday 28th May with Matt Charles-Jones from Totally Renewable Yackandandah and Assoc Prof Carolyn Hendriks.

Here at FCA, we love our farmers. But we know that healthy vibrant communities are an essential part of keeping the energy flowing, doctors in town and schools open. In this special webinar, Matt and Carolyn will share the Totally Renewable Yackandandah story and provide an insight into how your community can use energy to put the power back into your hands.

On Thursday 21st May the Federal Government released their long awaited ‘Technology Investment Roadmap’. It’s an interesting read (you can catch our thoughts here), but we believe there’s an opportunity to do more than await top down policy directives.

It’s time to take the power back, and re-energise our communities. Join us next Thursday to learn how (and to enjoy through more energy related puns...)
