A fourth generation farmer, Rhonda has witnessed the degradation of soil eco-systems and the negative impact on environmental and human health. Rhonda and husband Bill established YLAD Living Soils in 2001 to supply farmers with a biological fertility system to improve the mineral and microbial balance in soils. Fifteen years ago phases such as ‘global warming’ and ‘carbon credits’ were not heard of, YLAD Living Soils have moved with the times and now embrace a broader view of the environment and global issues. Rhonda understands the complexity of biological agriculture and compost production and believes that providing knowledge and educational opportunities to farmers is vitally important. YLAD Living Soils provide two major educational seminars/Workshops per year, farm tours and field days.
