Thank you!

We are so grateful for your generous donation to get farmers’ voices on TV, Facebook, radio and billboards across rural Queensland highlighting the link between coal and climate change. We've emailed a donation receipt to the email address you provided.

There is an election due within the next 6 months, and it is vital we start putting the pressure on our politicians now.

Please check your email for your receipt, and don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via email (info@farmersforclimateaction.org.au) and social media. We’re @farmingforever on Twitter and on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/FarmersforClimateAction

Keen to do more? Great - thank you!

Here’s some of the things you can do next:

Get Social!

Join the conversation on Twitter @farmingforever or via our Facebook page.

Write a letter to the editor:

Ever get tired of the same old letter writers clogging the pages of rural and local papers? Writing a short and snappy letter to the paper is a great way to get your message across. Remember to send us in any pictures of your published letters (info@farmersforclimateaction.org.au)

Contact your MP:

Rural MPs often tell us that climate change isn’t an issue they hear about from their constituents. It’s time for us to change that!

Rural Australia is on the front line of climate change, and our future is in our hands. We’re keen to work with you to organise meetings with your local MP and are developing handy guides to help make this process easy and to ensure you have everything you need at your fingertips! Contact info@farmersforclimateaction.org.au to register your interest.

Host an Event:

Are you a farmer and keen to get some neighbours together and start a conversation over climate change in your community? We’ve got a raft of tools (from videos to powerpoint presentations) to help make it easy to communicate your concerns over climate change with other local farmers. From 5-500 farmers, we can support you to break down barriers in your community and stand up for action on climate change. Contact info@farmersforclimateaction.org.au for more information.
